Is Roamify a good eSIM?
Yes. Roamify is one of the best value eSIM providers we’ve tested. We gave it 4.5/5 in our independent Roamify review. It combines low prices with strong speeds, a simple app and responsive customer support. However, performance varies by destination and Roamify didn’t connect during our Colombia test.

We’ve personally tested Roamify in 14 Countries: Belgium, France, Hong Kong, Korea, Macau, Malaysia, Portugal, Singapore, Spain, Taiwan, Thailand, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, United States. That gives us evidence from Europe, Asia, the Middle East and North America, covering several 4G and 5G partner networks. These four results show the range we experienced:
- Korea: 959 Mbps on SK Telecom 5G in Seoul, our fastest Roamify result.
- United Arab Emirates: 156 Mbps on Etisalat 5G in Dubai Marina.
- Taiwan: 527 Mbps on Chunghwa Telecom 5G in Taipei during our latest testing.
- Hong Kong: 98 Mbps on 3 in Hong Kong, considerably slower than our fastest Roamify results, yet still competitive within the market.
Roamify performed strongly in most destinations, but it didn’t connect during our Colombia test. This is why we don’t judge an eSIM from one country or one exceptional speed result. The plan, local network, location and congestion can all change the experience.

Is Roamify legit?

Yes. Roamify supports personal hotspot, so you can share your data with another device.
What should you do if Roamify isn’t working?
Check that the eSIM is switched on, selected for mobile data and has data roaming enabled. Don’t delete it unless support tells you to. Follow our Roamify troubleshooting guide for the complete steps.
How we test eSIMs
Speed Testing
We run 3 consecutive speed tests using Speedtest by Ookla in the same physical location with at least 3 out of 4 signal bars. If all 3 results fall within roughly a 15% download speed range, we record the highest result. If results vary more than this, we rerun the test to avoid random spikes or drops. This reflects realistic peak performance under stable conditions.
Stability Check
We use the eSIM normally over at least 2 to 3 days and note:
- Any full signal dropouts
- Whether reconnections happen automatically
- Whether any manual intervention is needed
If no issues occur, we state that explicitly.
Real-Life Usage Tests
We test every eSIM with common everyday tasks, including:
- General web browsing
- Google Maps loading and navigation
- WhatsApp messaging and media sending
- Uploading photos to cloud storage
- YouTube streaming (HD playback)
- Hotspot usage where supported, connecting a 2nd device
These checks confirm the connection is usable in real travel scenarios, not just fast in speed tests.
Customer Support Testing
We run quarterly support reviews across all providers using the same questions for each provider. We record and rate:
