NordVPN, one of the top brands in the VPN industry, has announced its entrance into the eSIM market with the launch of Saily. Saily is the latest in a number of travel eSIM providers designed to cater to travelers and digital nomads and get them online overseas.

The service boasts an expansive network of over 200 countries, amongst the highest of all eSIM providers that we’ve tested. Saily is aiming to be a top player in the eSIM market, delivering an effortless connection experience without the traditionally exorbitant roaming fees.
What makes Saily stand out?
In an increasingly crowded eSIM marketplace, with a number of big existing players like Airalo, Nomad, and GigSky already established, the key question will be how Saily can stand out. We have seen how NordVPN has grown substantially in the past years, so it’ll be interesting to see how Saily fairs in the market.
One thing that is music to our ears is that Saily claims to offer 24/7 customer support via live chat, perfect for travel eSIMs. Airalo does already offer chat support but in our experience, support has not been 100% live.
Our take
While we’re excited to see the team behind our favorite VPN enter the market and the claims made by Saily are impressive, the real test will be in the execution. At TEE we will of course be trying out the service and testing performance in areas like coverage, signal, pricing and more.
