A. Country plans

BNESIM has jumped on the unlimited plan train recently, offering 10 day, unlimited GB option in many (not all countries). These plans come with a 3 GB usage per day “fair use policy” which is quite competitive.

E. Validity options

Here’s where BNESIM stands out from most. Beyond the typical 7-30 day plans, they offer unlimited validity options. Buy your data, use it whenever you want. No pressure to burn through it before an expiry date. We’ve found these particularly useful for countries we find ourselves returning to regularly, where our families live.

F. Bonus: WhatsApp after your plan ends

BNESIM now lets you continue using WhatsApp even after your data runs out. Handy for staying in touch while you sort out a top up, though we’d say reliability on this feature is… not totally guaranteed.

4. Getting started and troubleshooting

BNESIM’s setup is straightforward, though there’s one quirk to be aware of.

A. Installation

Download the BNESIM app, create an account, purchase your plan and install the eSIM via QR code or directly through the app. Enable data roaming in your phone settings and you’re good to go.

B. 1 Profile globally

BNESIM recently introduced the G1 eSIM profile. What is it? Essentially, you no longer have to download a new eSIM profile for every plan that you purchase. Definitely music to our ears as we have 10 BNESIM profiles on our messy app!

C. Things not working?

• Toggle airplane mode on and off.
• Restart your device.
• Double-check data roaming is enabled.
